Hi, Paul and Michelle -

I just wanted to say thank you for such a lovely stay. I felt welcome and instantly at home in Les Amis, the breakfasts were so big, I did not need to eat most of the day, and the bed so comfortable, I slept deeply when I collapsed into it exhausted after another day exploring the city. Yonge Street certainly is lively, but you are in a great location to explore the rest of the city. My feet have just about recovered now from all the walking, and it certainly made the Bruce Trail easy to do bits of, after all that exercise!

A very friendly place, in a friendly city, and I do hope to be back with you again sometime.

I've just got around to posting up my photos of the trip here:
... and a link to your site, as promised, don't know if it will help you in the great Google rankings, but it can't hurt! Spent hours on Photoshop yesterday, getting rid of dust spots on some photos, the camera has now been cleaned professionally, something I will do before each big trip in future.
Thanks again for the hospitality and creating a great place for people from all over to come and chat together.

downtown Toronto at your doorstep

Thank you both very very much for your wonderful hospitality. It was so good to meet and talk with you and to experience first hand a caring environment.
We thank also for your superb breakfast (those crepes are to die for!) and our lovely comfortable room.
We look forward to staying with you on our next visit to Toronto.
     All best wishes.

Just dropping you a line about the B&B myself and my boyfriend stayed in when we were in Toronto in July this year.
We stayed at Les Amis, on Granby Street, and as well as having the already famous veggie breakfasts, we had an excellent host in the form of Paul-Antoine. Having lived in Toronto for many years, he is a mine of useful - and fascinating - information about the city and its people, as well as being friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms are cosy - you can even make yourself a cup of tea and make local phone calls - and there is a great terrace on the first floor from which to observe the squirrels and, on occasion, the local racoon family. Its handy for the city centre, yet situated in a quiet side street, away from the noise and bustle.
I would thoroughly recommend staying there to anyone visiting Toronto.
Yours, Rachel.
I wanted to thank you for my pleasant stay at Les Amis this past week. Your place was so clean and attractively comfortable. The wonderful aromas creating a sense of nurturing and peace...an oasis of calm in the stimulating city of Toronto. I am sending you the last of my Canadian money...which I hope you buy some flowers or some other thing that will remind you of how your efforts are appreciated by others.

Subject: Thank you!

Dear Michelle,
It is 5:30 in the morning, which means I am still struggling with the jet lag. I tried to sleep but decided not to, after trying with TV, Internet, book and anything you could think of. Time will cure hopefully.
I really enjoyed my stay at your place and it was such a pity that I could not have your proper breakfast (5 am departure). However, I was so impressed with your breakfast bag! I wasn't expecting that many! Probably some croissants (because I've seen it on your flyer). That's all. Against my expectation, it was like a small present on my last day in Canada. Even though I knew that I would have my breakfast on my plane, I could not resist yours...!
Next time I go to Toronto, I will promise to stay longer to have your breakfast properly! And I mustn't forget to tell you, the room was gorgeous too!

Greetings from Portland !
Hope all is well at LES AMIS. We just wanted to say a quick "Hello" and many thanks for your generous hospitality. Your crash course guide to the city made our short visit a memorable one. If you ever find yourself in Portland we would be glad to return the favor. Take care. Cheers !

Paul and Michelle,
I just wanted to let you know via email that my visit to Toronto was more enjoyable due to your B&B and your hospitality.
Your tips on getting around the city, suggestions on places to go to visit, eat, or must see, as well as some things a normal tourist would not find on their own cut down on the time that would have been spent on just finding out where and what to do in a big city.
I always looked forward for breakfast as the food was fantastic. At B&B's a good thing is you get to meet other people that you would not meet at a restaurant while eating breakfast.
Room was very comfortable and the washrooms were well equipped. When I return to Toronto, your B&B will be the first place I will call for a room. Thanks for a very pleasant stay.

Dear Michelle and Paul:
We're home, had a very nice trip, made it in 12 hrs., weather was just right.  We want to thank you so much for the great time we had at your house.  The bed was very confortable and breakfast time was the best meal of the day.
Shelly's favor was your omelet and mine was the crepes, but the waffles and oatmeal were just as good.
Toronto is a beautiful city and you are absolutely wonderful people, thank you.

Paul-Antoine and Michelle,
Bob and I want to tell you how much we enjoyed staying with you and will certainly do it again when we are in Toronto as visitors. Thank you for the breakfast bag full of goodies. We ate out of it at the airport and again on the plane. You saved us.
Wishing you both well,
Paul-Antoine and Michelle,
We want to thank you again for your hospitality, wonderful meals and your help with introducing us to Toronto. It was one of the best B&B's that we've ever stayed.

Paul-Antoine & Michele,
I just wanted to let you know my cousin and I really enjoyed our stay at your B&B a couple weeks ago.  Everything was comfortable and the breakfasts were excellent.  Sorry we didn't get a chance to say good-bye!
Thanks for everything,

Paul & Michelle,
Just a little note to say "Thank You" for making our stay in TO. very warm and memorable.

Dear Paul-Antoine and Michelle,
I am writing to say how much I enjoyed my night at Les Amis. I loved how simple, comfortable and cool it was. Other B and Bs I have stayed at were overly Victorian, to the point I thought all of them were like that. I travel so little, sometimes it is hard for me to sleep when I stay at a motel, but it was just the opposite at your place. I hope to stay there again and will be telling my friends about your Les Amis.
Thanks again, I still think you should come to the Traverse City Film Festival.

Dear Paul-Antoine and Michelle,

Thank you once again for your kind hospitality. Your rooms are so comfortable and homey.
The location is perfect too.

I might be back once more time in the middle of August, but I will know better once I see how things are in Kamloops. If so, I will contact you ASAP, and I'll certainly recommend you to my friends !

Take care,                Hazel.                                Kamloops B.C.
Thank you !
We have had such a lovely time - What a great place to stay and what a lovely way to meet people!
Thank your for your advice and hospitality.
